Last night the January meeting of IPMS Gabreski was held. Considering it was a "Nake up" for the canceled meeting of 27 January due to the weather, attendance was good and it was a productive meeting.
I ran a quick clinic on thinned oils to enhance panel lines, and if anyone has further questions about what was done, please feel free to email me for the answers. This club is ALL about helping improve each others modeling abilities so ask away. Remember, the only stupid questions are the ones NOT asked.
Dues started to get collected with almost all in attendance shelling out the $25, an outstanding start, but we'll need to keep pushing to get it all done as March is the deadline.
Bob Demaio showed his progress on the Intrepid builds he is doing. Great work Bob, and thanks for giving your pointers on what to expect with these kits!
Next month's meeting will be on 24 February. Bill Koppos will do a clinic on decanting paints from rattle cans into a more usable form for airbrushing. That's one I have not seen yet, kind of up there with Greg's decal making. Way to step up guys.
Keep building, keep posting and when you can, come on down for some meetings. See you then, OOORAH!
